Real-time visibility into queued and backlogged records in routing workflows
Taylor Jennings
The ability to monitor records currently being processed, waiting in queue, or stuck in routing workflows, with visibility into queue depth, wait times, and bottleneck identification.
Currently, once records enter routing workflows, there's no visibility into their status until they either complete successfully or fail completely. If routing slows down or records get stuck, there's no way to identify where the bottleneck is occurring or how many records are affected until someone notices leads aren't being assigned and starts investigating manually.
For example: if a routing workflow processes 500 leads per day and suddenly there's a 2-hour delay between lead creation and assignment, there's no way to see that 200 leads are stuck waiting for an account lookup API call, 50 are queued for territory matching, and the rest are processing normally. Operations teams can't identify bottlenecks proactively or set up alerts when queue depth exceeds acceptable thresholds.
Queue visibility would provide dashboards showing current records in each workflow stage, how long they've been waiting, where bottlenecks are occurring, and historical trends. This would enable proactive monitoring, faster troubleshooting, and the ability to set SLA alerts before routing delays impact business operations.
